Parent payment policy

Fees are set at Bunyip Primary School in line with the Department of Education Parent Payment Policy (PDF, 236kb)

School Council will review and approve fees for 2023 later in the year.

Fees for 2022

The fees for 2022 include:

  • student essential stationary items
  • classroom essential stationary items
  • student licences
  • specialist subject delivery (such as art, science, technology, library and PE)

Optional extra's per family include:

  • purchase of Bunyip Tales, produced each year as a memory of the year that was
  • parents and friends levy - payment of this levy allows us to only have to run one major fundraiser per term
  • buildings and grounds maintenance - payment of this levy helps us to maintain our building and grounds for the safety of our school community

Fee payment

Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, BPay or EFTPos/credit card. Credit card payments can be made over the phone.

We hope our families understand that the school is not able to provide student essential items for free. Your child will receive their book bags in the first week of 2022 school year.

Due date

Full payment of fees is required by the first day of school for students, however if possible a payment by before the end of the school year, would be appreciated and will assist the school with ordering the supplies.

Payment plans

Any families who are having difficulty meeting these payment timelines are invited to meet with the Principal to arrange a payment plan. Confidentiality and discretion is assured.
