Parent payment policy

Fees are set at Bunyip Primary School in line with the Department of Education Parent Payment Policy (PDF, 236kb)


Fees for 2021

The fees for 2021 include:

  • student essential stationary items
  • classroom essential stationary items
  • student licences
  • specialist subject delivery (such as art, science, technology, library and PE)

Parents have the option of also paying $60 per child that will sit on your account as a credit that can cover excursions and incursions, canteen special lunches etc, rather than having to send money to the school with your child.


Optional extra's per family include:

  • purchase of Bunyip Tales, produced each year as a memory of the year that was
  • parents and friends levy - payment of this levy allows us to only have to run one major fundraiser per term
  • buildings and grounds maintenance - payment of this levy helps us to maintain our building and grounds for the safety of our school community


Fee payment

Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, BPay or EFTPos/credit card. Credit card payments can be made over the phone. Please bring /send in the correct page (from the document link below) for your child’s grade level when making payment.

We hope our families understand that the school is not able to provide student essential items for free. Your child will receive their book bags in the first week of 2021 school year.


Due date

Full payment of fees is required by the first day of school for students, Thursday 28 January, 2021, however if possible a payment by Monday 14 December will assist the school with ordering the supplies.


The office will be open for payments from 11.30am to 3pm on Wednesday the 27 January for anyone who was not able to make their payments by the end of 2020.


Payment plans

Any families who are having difficulty meeting these payment timelines are invited to meet with the Principal to arrange a payment plan. Confidentiality and discretion is assured.
