Parent payment policy

Fees are set at Bunyip Primary School in line with the Parent Payment Policy. https://www.education.vic.gov.au/PAL/parent-payments-one-page-overview.docx

School Council will review and approve fees for 2024 later in the year.

Fees and Contributions

Underlying the success and quality of the wide-ranging academic and curricular programs available to meet the diverse needs of our 180 students is the financial support from families, that will ensure we have the materials to run programs successfully.

We do our best to keep the cost and number of items that need to be paid for to a minimum.  We also try to ensure that the costs are affordable to our families.

Parent payment contributions go towards the following items for our students:

  • student essential stationary items
  • classroom essential stationary items
  • student licences
  • specialist subject delivery (such as art, science, technology, library and PE)
  • Online subscriptions

Optional extra's per family include:

purchase of Bunyip Tales, produced each year as a memory of the year that was

parents and friends levy - payment of this levy allows us to only have to run one major fundraiser per term

buildings and grounds maintenance - payment of this levy helps us to maintain our building and grounds for the safety of our school community
